I like Rainbow because it is quick and easy. You pick up the menu. You make a phone call. They deliver in between 30-40 minutes. I don't always like the mad scramble to find the right money to give the delivery man... but that's my problem not theirs!
We order from Rainbow at least once a month, because sometimes you just don't want to cook, even if you know how! I particularly like Rainbow because they have crispy noodles, which was unusual for a Chinese takeaway when I was growing up. Maybe it's not so uncommon now, but it's enough of a nuance for me to always appreciate the fact with Rainbow. They also have some ho fun, and they deliver roast duck, which again is a novelty for me when it comes to Chinese takeaways.
I've never had a bad meal from Rainbow. I've never had a delivery not turn up. And I will continue to order my Chinese takeaways from here, in preference to any other Chinese takeaway. -

At my reasonably regular poker evenings with friends who live in Rotherhithe, we order for delivery from the Rainbow most weeks. They run a tight operation -- on most evenings, delivery is within 30 minutes, and the food arrives hot and tasty, and what we ordered! Can't really do better than that, to be honest.
The price is very reasonable considering the generous portion sizes as well. A good choice for folks in the area looking for a good Chinese takeaway or delivery! -

We stumbled in here one biblically rainy evening after a grueling evening with the estate agent, and were therefore much in need of a hearty feed of umami-flavoured Asiatic goodments. I'm delighted to report that Rainbow was exactly what the doctor ordered. We greedily devoured our crispy duck, tofu and spicy beef between gulps of beer and even got change out of £20 for two people. My Thai companion, who knows a thing or two about Asian food, gave it a cheery thumbs too.
